REMOVE THE OLD VERSION

IMPORTANT  After downloading the library update, back up the old version by moving the it to a new location your computer (any snapshot presets you’ve saved with the older version will still be available in the new version).

Next, load Kontakt, then select ‘LIBRARY’ in the top-left of the software.

Remove the library in Kontakt’s LIBRARY area.

1  CLICK on the settings icon (cog icon) in the bottom-left of Kontakt’s library page.

2  Select the library you want to remove (Socora LITE in the case above).

3  CLICK ‘Remove’.

ADD THE UPDATED VERSION

1  CLICK on the settings icon (cog icon) in the bottom-left of Kontakt’s library page.

2  CLICK ‘Add’. A pop-up window will appear. In that pop-up, locate and select the library’s main folder (the folder you downloaded from us), then CLICK ‘Open’.

3  Your library will now appear in Kontakt. To load it, hover over its Kontakt icon and CLICK the right-facing arrow (shown above in area 3).

If you have issues with installing your library, click here to get in touch.

There are two ways to unsubscribe…

1 On the bottom of every email we send, there is an ‘unsubscribe’ link. Clicking that link will remove you from our list.

2 Or click here to get in touch, and we will remove you from our subscribers list manually.

Please note: Unsubscribing will prevent you from receiving notifications to instrument updates, free giveaways and more. If you decide to re-subscribe, feel free to at any time. We would be glad to have you back.

This can happen because of one of two reasons…

1 The confirmation email has ended up in your spam/junk email folder. Check your spam/junk folder, if the email is there, click “Yes, subscribe me to this list”.

After confirming your subscription, you will be sent a second email to download Socora LITE. This email may also end up in your spam/junk email folder.

We’d recommend ‘whitelisting’ our email address so you receive future instrument updates, free expansion pack releases and more. To learn how to do this, go to https://www.whitelist.guide/, click on your email provider, and follow the instructions.

2 Our email provider has been a little over cautious and decided not to send you an email.

No problem. Click here to get in touch. We will subscribe you to our list manually (with your permission) and send you a link to download Socora LITE.

1 Go to your emails and confirm your subscription. If you cannot find the confirmation email, check your spam/junk folder. If it’s not there, click here to get in touch.

2 Once you have confirmed your subscription, you will receive a second email containing your download link and password. If this email has not arrived within 30 minutes (and it’s not in your spam folder) click here to get in touch.

3 Clicking on the DOWNLOAD NOW button (above) will take you to your login area. Type in your password to get access to the Socora LITE download page.

4 On your subscribers page, click the DOWNLOAD (FREE) button to download Socora LITE to your computer. Any problems, click here to get in touch.

To learn how to install Socora LITE, click here.

DOWNLOAD AND DECOMPRESS

1  Download the .zip file containing your new presets from www.darkskyaudio.com

2  Double click on the .zip file to decompress it.

LOCATE YOUR LIBRARY’S PRESET FOLDER

1  Load the Kontakt library into which you are going to install your new snapshots.

2  Click on the spanner icon in the top-left of the library.

Click on the spanner

3  Click ‘Instrument Options’

4  Click ‘Snapshot,’ then click ‘Show’.

6  Kontakt may ask you, “There are no user snapshots saved yet! Do you want to create a path?” Click Yes.

7  The presets folder for your library will appear (in our case–Socora LITE). Copy your new snapshot presets into the library folder (as shown below).

You will now be able to see your new presets within your Kontakt library.
